Workshop1：Let's play "Shamiboy"! and enjoy an authentic sound shamisen in a more casual way
Using "Shamiboy", you will learn to play the popular Japanese tune Sakura-sakura or Tanko-bushi!
This shamisen can be played using a plectrum that resembles a guitar pick,without need of learning to use the bachi plectrum, which is a little difficult to handle.
Shamisen beginners are welcome to join the session.
Workshop2：Let's make a cardboard shamisen "Shamisen Kids"!
At the workshop, you will craft a cardboard shamisen using "Shamisen Kids".
The cardboard instrument can be used casually to play shamisen music.
This workshop can be enjoyed from the children to adults.
Price : Adults ¥15,000- / 10 years old and younger ¥10,000-
（including transportation from and to the meeting location, lunch, and one workshop fee）
Meeting time : 11 a.m. (finished 4 p.m.)
Meeting location : Keio Hashimoto Station (South Exit) or JR Sagamiko Station (in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan)
*The meeting location may change depending on the time of year.
Planned lunch location : Tanemame / Fujino CLub / Italian Pizza Dream Farm Doujin Yume Noujyou / Yasumiya / Akari / Yamatoya etc.
*Please make reservations one month in advance to restaurant reservations.
*If you are staying in Japan outside Tokyo, Kanagawa or Yamanashi Prefecture, you may not be able to come to the meeting place.Plese contact us.
*We will escort you to and from the workshop venue.
*Vegetarian, vegan, and macrobiotic lunches made using local ingredients are available.
*Accommodation near the venue is available before and after the workshop. Hotel contact information is available upon request (we only provide information – you must make the booking yourself).
*Workshops are not held on our days off (Sundays and holidays) and during the busy season. Please contact us for details.
